First Aid Training Level 2
Purpose of the course:
(Unit Standard 120496)
To build on the knowledge acquired in First Aid Level 1 and to enable learners who perform a task in the outdoors as this course has modules on snake & other animal bites as well as environmental casualties such as heat stroke and exposure to extreme cold.
Target group:
Candidates with a valid First Aid Level 1 certificate, field guides, tourist guides and employees working in the outdoors (construction, nature conservation etc).
Course outline:
Assessment
⭄ Training: 50% theory & 50% practical
⭄ Evaluation: 30% theory & 70% Practical
⭄ Competency in CPR is compulsory
